ShareGroup Program Coordinator
Retail Analyst
ShareGroup Program Coordinator
MVI Share Groups approach real-time challenges in the CPG world through roundtable discussions and case studies. Participants enjoy unique insights into managing internal and external relationships critical to the overall growth of sales, share, and profitability.
The Share Group Program Coordinator is responsible for meeting execution across all Share Groups, as well as supporting all new product development and targeting activities within the product line. Key goals are:
- Seamless meeting experience for member clients
- Targeted elegant client communication
- Proactive approach towards supplementary product programs
Primary responsibilities include:
- Meeting execution:
- Pre: Logistics liaise with GS/facilitators, arrange client conference calls, meeting & welcome dinner attendance confirmation, and meeting packet creation
- During: Welcome dinner & meeting execution, onsite contact, scribe, and other tasks as needed
- Post: Learnings & Action Items distributed within a week and drafting of Notes & Extract Package
- Support Activities
- Project based client communication
- Online survey construction
- Targeting support documents revision on an ad hoc basis
The successful candidate will possess:
- Highly effective and professional written and verbal communication skills
- Well-developed people and project management skills
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- A highly organized, detail-oriented approach to handling multiple tasks under tight deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree required; concentration in Business Administration preferred; experience in hospitality industry a plus
- 1 to 2 years of prior experience in hospitality, consulting, research, financial or consumer products industries
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent typing skills needed: must be able to capture conversations in real time

Retail Analyst
The Retail Analyst performs in-depth analysis of the retailers across the MVI research retail channels – discount, chain drug, value discount, grocery and warehouse clubs - with a focus on the top 30 retailers. The Retail Analyst’s goal is to:
- Develop a well-rounded understanding of the assigned retailer(s).
- Group, analyze, and interpret data and information.
- Draw implications that have meaning and relevance for MVI client companies.
- Deliver actionable analysis for MVI clients in a variety of contexts.
The Analyst’s primary responsibilities include:
- Analysis. Learn and use “MVI Methodology” regarding data standards and preparation. Draw actionable insights, conclusions and implications based on relevant trends and data. Perform primary and secondary research for more in-depth analysis.
- Training material production. Organize information and analysis into relevant and sensible groups for use in MVI’s client training classes.
- Article and news creation. Write monthly articles for MVI publications and produce regular Breaking News content for the MVI website.
- Client management. Respond to client requests, delivering useful insight and supporting existing relationships with client companies.
The target candidate will possess these requirements:
- Highly effective and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Significant qualitative and quantitative research and analysis experience.
- Well-developed people and project management skills.
- The ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
- A highly organized, detail-oriented approach to handling multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- A bachelor’s degree or higher.
- 2 to 5 years of prior analysis experience in the consulting, research, financial or consumer products industries.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Microsoft Access knowledge preferred.
